Wrapped Package Cake

This is a perennial favorite in our retail shop. Use for any occasion as a centerpiece; birthday, anniversary, baby shower, bridal shower, and this trompe l’oeil package cake will surprise your guests. We use real ribbons to add to the deceit! We have heard of so many occasions where guests put their gifts on the table with the cake, not knowing.

We have put together a winning combination of chocolate chiffon cake layered with chocolate fudge and our house made raspberry jam with whole raspberries. Then we dress it up in rolled European fondant with handmade hydrangea flowers.
